Here's my neighbors 24 Cig. She just acquired a Volvo to Bravo conversion and new yellow paint. She has a nasty roller cammed 10:1 + compression, Brodix aluminum headed BBC. She was BAD with the Volvo, and I'm sure will be BADDER (is that a word eek.gif ) with the Bravo. Way to go Pat!

That's a cool boat, reminds me of the 24' Excalibur from the late seventies. Do you know what year it is and how many 24' boats did Cigarette make?

It's an 80's era boat, I'll have to ask what specific year though.

Not sure on the top end, I just know your eyes are watering profusely and the channel markers go by real, real fast eek.gif I'm sure we'll GPS her when she gets back in the H2O, and I'll post with the owners permission. It's by far the fastest thing on water I've ever driven, oh with exception to Ted's (HP-500) 22 Classic.

Don't think it is a Superboat although the hull looks like one from what is visible. Never seen a deck like that on a Superboat but, I haven't seen them all. Get more pics.

This boat does look different. The light spot at the top right hand of the transom will settle it!!

I had a 1981 Cigarette 24 foot. It had the cable and a very low black framed windshield. Had twin side by side cleats on bow.

Deck was flatter.
No hatch.
Had TRS drive.
Pop open racing style fuel filler.

Rigging was PERFECT. Everything tied down and clamped every couple of inches.

Had "K" planes too. Also, water pickup on transom.

I don't think it is a Cigarette either. What is the ID #. Has to have CRT.

Matt,
I actually took a ride in the Superboat you posted the picture of when I was shopping last year. That one was an early model with the rounded windshield. It looks like the "cigarette" picture has fiberglass deck in place of where the windshield is on the Superboat.
Cool looking boat but, still not sure what it is.

Paul ,
how did it ride, looks like a fast boat, with the shorty outdrive.I looked at acouple of super boats but they were alittle out of my price range, when i saw my donzi love at first site.

Great looking boat. I did a restoration on a 1977 24 foot Excalibur, that looks like the same hull. A guy in Cincinnati has a 24 foot Cigarett Mistress, that looks like the Excalibur hull?

Smoothie,

Thanks for the 24 Cigarette pic. I had one that was identical to that one. Even down to the left hand steering. I wouldn't be surprise if is was mine. My 24 was the one at the Miami boat show in 1981. It was a great boat......wish I never sold it.....oh well I'll keep my eyes open for another.

I've got a friend with a "special" 24 built two years ago specifically for Factory 1 racing. Did 84mph with a HP500. Now running in APBA P5 around 69mph with a small-block and Volvo DPX.

I'll post a picture here. It is for sale; He has too many boats.
