Man has anyone seen this Magnum? Looks like a good deal could be had here, less than $10K. I wish I had the money and time.

My brother works for Seatow and the office he works for is two blocks from were the Magnum is. Asked him to go look at it. It looks to me it has some bottom damage. From the pictures Its hard to tell how extensive.
It was built for a young Shiek discription
says. I am betting he ran it aground looks like coral dammage My brother and I have salavged alot of boats for Seatow he will know if its worth fixing. Hopefully it wasnt left in the water long or the coring will be soaked and would not be worth fixing. I will letyou know whats up with the boat.

Turbo, interested in hearing what your brother finds out. Lou has seen the boat in person. He was told the shiek sent the boat back for restoration and Magnum informed the guy it would be cheaper to buy a new one. The timing is not the best for me but it does look like an interesting project.

Thanks for the email Lou.

There is no coring in the hull of a Magnum, but there is coring the deck. The hull is 100% repairable fiberglass . . . and there is lots of it in that boat too.

This is what my brother said about the magnum :Lot's of hard work ! This boat is Striped . All the dash is ripped out . engines and outdrives missing Gimbles need to be totaly re-worked. The hull looks ok, however the hatches and decks are beat up and fishered. This boat is in worse shape than the drug boat that I showed you in Stuart. This looks like a real money pit.
