For a modern equivalent this is all I can find so far, http://www.boatfix.com/sections/lights2.pdf#zoom=125

Attwood all round telescoping for the stern
and Sea-Dog Stainless Combo bow light for the bow.
Lifting Rings? --- good luck.

BB,
The lifting rings I can get, it's the hardware that goes with them I can't find. I think we will have to make them.
I can put you in touch with the marina that has the rings, or I can pick them up for you and send them to you?

Gene,
If you could put me in touch with the marina, that would be great. Are you sure that they are the original style lifting ring for an early 2+3?
Thanks,

Negative...
The rings are the current style, no floating ring around the base. Fixed flange.
Still interested?

Gene,
Thanks for checking. I'm really looking for the original style with the floating ring.

Try Perko p/n 281113 for the bow.
Perko 1209 (24") for the stern.
These are the current replacements of original lights on my 66 2+3
I am working on getting the original lifting ring with trim ring. I'll let you know

Rich/Scott:

Thanks for the help. I think I am going to go with the non-telescoping tear-drop shaped stern light. And the 972 bowlight. I think that is the closest I am going to get to the originals.

Still searching for the lifting rings.

Thanks again for the help.

Scott......
Sorry to disagree with you, but the 1209 is the closest replacement to my stern light.
My original was a teardrop base stowaway type. All the original parts where metal but the replacement has some plastic. Everything else seems the same. The holes even line up perfectly. Not sure about the angle though.

My '70 model 18 2+3 barrel-back has a telescoping light with a spaceship-looking thing on top with a bubble shaped bulb and a knurled knob.

Ok sea dog Part # SDG 4001501 is a perfect match Bow light and then Perko Stern light # 1209DP-2CHRCHR This thig is pretty damn close. It has the tear drop base.

Scott,
It seems that for things like stern lights, Donzi put on what they could get at the time. The earliest models had a light in the transom not on a pole. I replaced my pole light with the one that the boat came with. Luckily for me, Perko is still making it.

I also have the lifting eyes and trim ring in stock. See my post in parts for sale under railing parts.

Randy Hibbard has the lifting rings with the floating flange on his 1987 Minx. Shouldn't we be able to get them from Donzi or Perko?
1987 isn't all that long ago, you know?

Rich,
In 1967 they did put the stern light on the transom in the center. In early 1968, this is what I have. They mounted them on the right side of the deck. Mine did have a tear drop base. My boat has be in storage for 21 years and was all orig. right down to the gel coat. I guess they can vary from boat to boat.

Gene,

When I spoke to Donzi regarding parts, Ken Azar told me that company policy was to sell off any parts in inventory that was not being used on a current production model. Ken said that local Florida surplus stores were buying their stuff up.
You could get it from Perko if they made it.....but they don't.

I guess we got to go to one of the marine surplus joints in Tampa or Sarasota.
Perhaps Andy Lindstrom could help?

. . . or just buy 'em from Rich. I really like going to the marine surplus stores in Florida, but if you don't have the time to go and search through everything only to come up empty handed, it is MUCH cheaper to pony up and buy quality reproductions. You will spend more money in gas riding around looking for stuff than you will save. No doubt it will fun and you will probably buy a ton of other stuff whether you need it or not.
