I am purchasing a used Z22 and was told I need to get an eagle trailer because of the stepped hull. Is this my only option because they run $3600. If anyone has any suggestions or an appropriate trailer for sale please let me know I would appreciate it.

bboersma,
Eagle is not your only choice and that price seems a little high. I'll check with my dad next week on the price of a new Z22 trailer. We can get either a Myco, Pacific or Loadmaster. Myco builds about the best trailer in the country, designed for the step in aluminum or steel. Pacific is the next step down and also builds a steel trailer for the step. Loadmaster is the cheapest, a bunk trailer made of aluminum. Myco and Loadmaster are in Florida, Pacific is in Claifornia.
Here's a picture of a Deck Boat with a step similar to the Z22 on a Loadmaster.

Rick,
Just wondering if you have found out anything about the trailer prices for the Donzi Z22.
Thanks,
