Decent Project Boat?

With the spare time of the summer, looking for something to keep me busy. Anyone know of any decent project boats around? Looking for old Aronow boat, old Check Mate, Baja, etc. Looking to spend less than 1000 on boat and trailer initially, with or without power.

Tommy you need to go riding around looking into peoples back yards, if you look hard enough you will find something you like and if neglected enough may get it free for the hauling off. Out by me there is a Baja that I think is a freeby but needs a complete gut job, has been sitting in this gals back yard for many years full of leaves and water. Too far for you but I bet there are a few not far from you also.
