I would like to find out what the original dash guages for a 68' 16 with a 289 and a volvo 250 were. I would also like to purchase them as well. I just purchased this 68', and I am going to restore the boat. It someone has answers, let me know. mailto:jasonbighands@aol.comjasonbighands@aol.com</a>

Jasonbighands, good luck!! I looked all over and never found any of the originals. So I went with Teleflex Heavy Duty. They are nice, and vintage-looking too.

JimG, Thanks for the advice. Josh at Donzi Marine recommended those as well. I took at look at them, and I think they will be fine.

Too bad, I just sold an original instrument bezel to someone on the registry last year. My '69 was originally equipped with Stewart-Warner gauges. I would imagine you can still buy them new. I had to replace the fuel gauge(eight years ago) with one that was exactly like the original.

Jason,
I just red did my dash in the 67 16 with teleflex red line int'l thought they would look good with the black red and white faces to match the red and white boat they do but seeing Bertram boys heavy duties in the same layout look much closer to original. I see if a have pics, I'm also helping on a 73 20 cig restore that will use Stewart Warner here's a link but speedo's can be hard to find.
