also in the 1993 22 hull the transom has a center part that is very thick, double thick, the only way i can miss that center part is if I put the tips just a little more apart then they would if be if they came right strait off the risers only about 1/2 inch to each side.
Anyone every run it to this or see any problem with what i figure i need to do? thanks

You will have to hole saw thru the thicker area of the transom as well. Don't be afraid.. I can give you the exact location for the holes for a 93 if you want, since my new exhuast tips are still not installed as of yet.

The center location of the holes for the exhaust tips are, 13-1/2 inches from the centerline, 3-1/2 inches down from the lip just below the rub rail.
The thicker area of the transom is 2 to 2-3/16 thick. A 4-1/8 inch hole saw works wonders.

you have the 454 omc right? no water will be able to get in aslong as the tips have the flapers right?
