Is this the last 14 x 24" pitch LEFT HAND ULTRA prop in existence that's for sale? Without a doubt, the Ultra is the best and fastest prop ever made for your Donzi with a Volvo AQ 250, 270, 280, or 290 drive, and this one is in near new condition with an upgraded hub, a $100 option that all ULTRA props will need sooner or later. $450.00 plus shipping.

The Ultra prop requires your prop shaft to be drilled and tapped like the AQ 280/290 models. You say you have and older AQ 250 drive where prop shaft is not drilled and tapped? No problem. Search back on the Donzi.net discussion board and there is an entire thread devoted to drilling and tapping a Volvo prop shaft.

If you are not sure if you should get a Volvo ULTRA prop, just ask anyone who runs one on their Donzi. This prop is probably the most cost effective performance upgrade you can make to your Volvo driven Donzi.

Also note: I also have a 14x24 and two 14x26 Right Hand ULTRA props that have never been used but have some small "handling dings" for sale at $200.00 each. If you can use a right hand prop, these are a bargain. Let me know if you would like pictures of the rightys.

How would those work on my Magnum?

I've run a pair of Ultras on my Magnum 27 with 280Ts and they worked well. Good bow lift at all planing speeds, good accelleration, and no problem comming out of the hole. The only negitave that I had with them was that the bow lift was almost too good when out in the big stuff, but that was before I installed a set of K-planes. Later, after I installed a pair of 383 small block strokers, I went with a pair of 26" Hill props since I couldn't find a LH 26 Ultra. The Hills work pretty well, but they don't have the bow lift of the Ultras. Overall, I still like the Ultras better on the Magnum, though Ultras were designed for a smaller boat.

Von, never totally sure, but run down every lead that you can find. Lefts are much rarer than rights. That's why I have rights for cheap.
