470 Mercruiser, 4 cyl, 160 hp, complete. Engine, transom plate, gimble housing, drive, everything to set up small runner. Engine has aprox. 350hrs, new regulator,rebuilt starter, new heat exchanger. Drive rebuilt winter 99-00. Very dependable, strong runner. $1000.00

Is this a Type 1 MR drive?

As far as I know, its an Alpha I ,vintage 78-79. Don't know the ratio.

Alpha 1's didn't exist in '79. They started in '86.
If you know the year of the 470 (3.7) I can look up the drive. Or if you can find the serial number I can figure it out.

Engine and drive are from a 78 boat. Engine # 5195267
