I am interestered but my knowledge on size/diameter is slim. I am running an OMC SS 14 1/2 x 23 at 4800rpm wot with full tank and two adults. The boat is a '90 Classic 22 w/ 454 King Cobra. I am pretty satisfied with the way she is running and also concerned about over revving. What should I expect to benefit from changing the prop?

I'll take it if he doesn't.....(will a Mirage fit on a cobra drive?). I think it's too much prop for my boat, but I want to try.....

Email me if it's still available.

Thanks!!

The opportunity to try a new prop looked so good I never considered it would not fit my drive. Thanks for the public embarassment.

Guess I am not juggling multiple tasks well today.

All I know is that the prop fits Mecruiser Alpha and Bravo. Don't know what else.

PaulO, Did anyone buy this prop yet?

It appears that the prop is sold. Will inform if that changes for any reason.
Thanks

If the Merc Prop has a flo-torq hub (all late model Merc props) the hub has an insert ($31 retail Merc, slip in) so you can use it on an OMC.
These hubs are also avaiilable for other drives.
Are you running a OMC Raker? You're RPM,s sound right.

I am running an SST II. When the boat was originally rigged in 1990, I don't remember the Raker being available. On a good day, which there aren't too many in the Great South Bay, the best reading I got was 62 MPH on the GPS. I don't think there is much more left but would be curious to find out if there was.

Someone had e-mailed me that they want this prop. My e-mail has been lost. Who was it? Sorry for the screw-up.

It was me....I knew there were a few others interested also, so when I didn't here back, I just assumed it had gone to someone else...

Shoot me an email at egudgel@msn.com with where I should send the check....Thanks.
