View Full Version : Wanted: OMC King Cobra (Upper unit)

Hello Fellow Donzi lovers,

I have a '92 classic 18' in need of an OMC King Cobra upper unit for the outdrive. I am having trouble locating this part. Apparently there is a couple of King Cobras and mine is the style that shifts from the upper unit and has a cone clutch like a Volvo Penta. If anyone know where to locate this part new or reliable used I would be greatful. You can email me at

I have a '92 18 also with that outdrive...is there problems with it?? I'm intrested to know.

I have the older KingCobra and had to replace it. The best price I could find was www.outdriveexchange.com (http://www.outdriveexchange.com) I had the new (rebuilt) drive within 3 days and was on the water by the 4th.

Just for general info, that Doug Russel site mentioned above sets off my fire wall on my machine. Those of you that do not like firms that try get into your computor stay away and do Biz with HLSM. They do not try to get into your machine.
