I'm really busy this spring and running behind on getting my '18 detailed for the summer. I am also getting ready to go to New Orleans for JazzFest and running out of time.
I need some volunteers to come to my lake house in Charlotte and do the following:
Remove rubrail and deck hardware and polish.
Change engine oil and filter.
Change outdrive oil.
Change gas filter.
Change spark plugs.
Grease all grease fittings.
Adjust outdrive tilt limit.
Mask off outdrive, light sand, and touch-up paint.
Clean flame arrestor.
Remove seats and clean.
Remove carpet and clean.
Remove battery and top off charge.
Install new speedo pitot tube.
Repair loose connector on stern light.
Check and tighten all bolts on motor mounts, outdrive, etc.
Repair nick on keel with color matched gelcoat. This will require someone to lay under the trailer on their back in my gravel driveway.
Scrub the engine compartment.
Wash boat.
Polish boat.
Wax boat. (Polish and wax by hand only - no machine application - no liquid wax, hard wax only).
Wash and wax trailer. Grease bearing-buddys.
Install new screens in deck scoops. Will require some trimming.
Reinstall rubrail and deck hardware.
Install carpet and seats.
I have not had time to purchase any of the maintainence items, so you will need to bring with you. Just let me know who is coming and which items you are bringing.
I am sorry that I will not be able to take you for a ride when finished because I will be in New Orleans.
Call for directions.
Thanking you in advance for your help.
