Can you add this to you engine maintenance section? I just got word on a friend who ruined his 1 ½ year old SB chevy by forgetting to seal the head bolts. A lot of guys make this mistake when building up small blocks, the head bolts go through into the water jackets if the proper sealer is not used the threads corrode and the block cannot even be Heli Coiled. The threads and the head bolts should be coated, I run a tap into the block to clean the threads just before assembly, I carefully dab sealer into the block holes then I get the heads on and then brush sealer on the bolts including the tips and then torque them. This is a major problem in salt but I suspect it even happens in fresh just takes longer. I have seen this so many times over the years, including my own son who darn well should have known better.
