I agree. I was in a 29 Outlaw running 81 and it was one wild ride. Someone is asking for trouble with this one.

Thats a 22 foot boat with a 609? Wow. I could hit 100 with a blown 496...

QWhy would someone go to all of the trouble to build a 100 mph Hammer and then sell it after 5 hours ??
ABecause it handles like a piece of s#@t at anything over 52 mph.

I can't imagine how scary this boat would be in the slightest chop, I rode in a Hammer last summer at the local Marina's demo day, and the kid who drove us nearly killed us when he got it stuck in a wake trough coming off of a 32 SeaRay, and before he shut it down we came within 15 feet of the shore. He re-started the boat the idled back to the marina, still trying to sell us the boat.

There was a guy that came to the Philly Poker Run last year and had a 24 Baja with the back seat and engine cover removed. He had a number 6 drive waste of money and a 1000hp blower motor. This boat ran 120 and when he came by me It looked like he had god as his co pilot, The way it looked its only a matter of time before he becomes part of the landscape!

Looking at the picture, it was either taken early morning or on a private lake with no one else on the lake! Most of us enjoy owning our boats because we can go to the lake at anytime and mingle with other boat owners. 100 MPH by yourself might be heart stopping, but 60 with friends is a day most enjoyed. Geoo not only does 100, but enjoys the day with all his friends because he has done more than just add HP and trick pieces to his Donzi. Like was said earlier, why would you sink all that money into a boat and sell it after 5 hours of use? Maybe because the man has built a death trap?

Kurt you should probably start a new thread instead of trying to get an answer in someone else's, unrelated, thread.
