Well Boys.....

Here in So. Cal we don't winterize, drain the fluids, put on no stinking winter covers or fog em'.....we just run our Donzi’s till it hurts. This picture was taken this past weekend on Lake Castaic, 80 degrees and flat. I was having so much fun… I RAN OUT OF GAS !!!

Now if I can just figure out a link for the video I took.

As I like to say “Another lousy day at the lake !! “

Enjoy.....

Stan.......

( Don’t hate me because I have great weather )

Very Nice Classic, boat shine looks better than ROADTRIP's! :D
(am I having memory lapse? haven't seen it lately!) wink Kidding of course....

As for the video, I am sure ROADTRIP or Harbormaster can solve the issue.

Stan,

Those pictures sure would look better if there was a female laid out on the back. You would probably get more responses from the folks that have already winterized their Donzi's. wink

It appears that your engine hatch cushions are snap on's? If it is, How do they stay on when your at high speeds? I only see the two straps on the transom. Do you have any up close pics of how you attached them?

I believe Budmann has the same setup with cushions. However, I believe his are permanent?

BTW....Here in South Florida we don't winterize either. :D :D :D :)

UMMMMMMMMMMMMM...........Yes, indeed, it's winter. These 50/60 degree mornings are hell, for sure. But, then again, there's the 70 degree mid-day sun.

So, Team Hula-girl, when's the next get together?.......tell the folks down at Donzi that they are cramping your style with the boat out of action.

Stan, and you probably think the ocean in So. Cal. is warm too. South swell 5' - 7' in my back yard this afternoon, 78 degree water.

Stan, the boat looks great. I've been without a boat since June. :( Like you I sold my 18 to move up to a 22. I should be getting the new boat in March and will do some breaking in at Powell this Spring but also plan to go to Havasu some next year. Maybe we'll finally meet at the lake this next year. Us Donzi owners sure are few and far between out here.

Man, what a Donzi!! My wife might actually let me get a classic model when I show her these pix. I, like many others, have to balance my need for speed with some practicality. She said "As long as it has a sunpad, you can get it!" And the bimini top is also a bonus. Any info on where I would purchase the sunpad and top? None that I have seen for sale have either of those features. I boat at Greers Ferry Lake in Arkansas. I promise you they have never seen a rig like this before.

I'd like to have a sunpad on my 22 as well - I owe it (and much more) to Donzi Deb for supporting my move up to the 22. Want to keep her happy!

Are they all custom or does anyone know of a supplier?

Thanks guys for all the compliments about my ride. There was a lot of inquiry about my pad on the rear deck. I bought this boat used with the pad already there. I will look this weekend ( while on the water again ) and see if there is a mfg tag. The pad is one piece that snaps in the rear and has a very very clean attachment in the front. I will take some pics and post asap. I think you will like what you will see.

Thanks again for all the complements

Stan……………

( I will make some posts in the Donzi Girls section for those who would like something more revealing then me on the back !! )

Budman has a sunpad on his 22 Classic. It looks great, and I remember talking to him about it and it was very functional. (Budman, hope you don't mind but I thought I would share a picture). Maybe he can chime in on where he got it made.

What is Fishboy doing anyways???

Stan... hurry up with the photos!!

Hay Bryan! You guys are parked exactly where I used to catch blue crabs by the bushell when I was a kid in the mid 1960s. Later in '72, I quit crabbin' because my folks bought the 16 Donzi and I didn't want crabs running around on the floor of the 16 while jumping wakes. eek! Also, since the 64th Street ramp in Seashore State Park was the closest one to the house, that was the choice place to drop her in. I'm glad to see you guys are keeping up the tradition of hangin' out at the "Narrows".

Uhhhhhh, any crabs in those boats? :D

Ok……for all of you who are starting to get snowed in…here are pics from Lake Havasu, Arizona last year. I tried to get a gathering together, but had no luck. Maybe this will change your mind.

For those of you from “Near The Bottom Of Allatoona, GA”, who prefer beefcake instead of cheesecake, you don’t need to scroll down any further !

After seeing the post of my pic on the boat, I will admit it kinda looks a little…well…you be the judge…sorry

If the girls wear these tiny covers, it is legal to go topless. Covers available at Nippleguard, com

IS THIS A GREAT COUNTRY….OR WHAT !!!!!!

This is a shot of a gold “ Stripper Pole “ mounted on the deck of a house boat in Copper Canyon !! Any yes, I did float up with my waterproof camera for some great action shots !!!!

I will post more pics if anyone wants in the DONZI GIRLS section, these were some of the clean ones. I have others that are..…in a.word…..……nasty, crude and ..…well……interesting !!

I just need the OK from Harbormaster for my tasteless pics. I don’t want to tarnish this great site……or tease any of you east coast shut-ins !!!

Stan…………

If anyone is offended by the above pics, please let me know (nicely) and I will remove them ASAP, no questions asked.

Stan,

I know how to winterize a boat, but how do you secure it against wildfires? you do seem to have them down there... :D

Great pix. Post thos puppies in the Donzi Girl Section.
