Is a 28 donzi sportsman comprable to a 28 bertram and 31 bertram in ride, seakeeping and overall handling? which is the best! all comments welcome.

28 donzi should ride better because placement of motors in stern utilizing v-drives. even some of the early bertram 31's used for racing had v-drives. i spoke to a 28 donzi owner recently who told me the big blocks are a real tight fit and he has to pull one engine to do tune ups---its the first time i heard that. i know the were built with both small and big blocks from factory.

Jag, I have never been in a 28 Donzi, However, Since child hood a Bertram has always been in my family. The 28 Bertram is a sweet rideing boat!!! It depends on what you're looking for. The Bertram is a better fishing boat while the Donzi has a bigger cabin for crusing.(unless you get the FB model) I think the 28 Donzi is more of a classic then the Bert. GEOO
