New to the board. Had a 20' Minx but sold it and need to get another Donzi. Wondering if someone could tell me what the boat in the gallery section is. It appears to be the hull of a 22 Classic but with a smaller cockpit and different engine hatch. If anyone has any info I.E. power, top speed, year, etc. it would be appreciated.

It's a late 70's or early 80's 22 criterion. Probably a big block mercruiser/ TRS combo. The criterion 2 had a solid windscreen and no open bow. Both boats are quite rare.

That is my Criterion. It had a 454 with a merc II trans and TRS Out Drive. There are three types Mine The Criterion II and the Criterion SS The SS also has a straight wind screen but also has a front seating with either manual or hydraulic hatch. They had a Galr banks Twin turbo. They say there was a total of eight made all together, but truth is I beleave there were 29 total. I have located seven. Mine is a 1981 1980 was the firstr year.

I need to get off the subject a bit...
What years were the Corsican made?
Walt says his boat is a 1968, and I notice that it has a rounded transom.
Curious minds want to know!

Walt is correct, He had #2, Ken has #1 and I have #45. they made them up to 1972. The roundes high stern deck allows a big block and hi rise manifold without modification to the hatch. Otherwise hull is just like the classic.
BTW it was great seeing you again. Your boat looks better in the water than it did at the Portifino last year.

I owned a Criterion II some years back. Yes it was a BB 454 Gail Banks twin turbos with a Borg Warner trans and a TRS. Had 28 guages across dash. One set for the throttle man one set for the driver. Bow jump seat was filled in. Donzi made 12 of them this way. Mine was blue and white.

I had an all orig. 1969 Searay Pachanga I sold some years back also. It was mint! ..............OK.....Im making myself sick now! All I have now is this 68 Donzi.

Hay, I am looking for a Hornet. I want to do one of those next...I'm sure I will never fint one.

Hey Scott,
Found a couple for ya. Aren’t they gems? Take your pick, a Stylin’ Wagon or a Snazzy Sports Coupe”

Eeaassyy, I would not be caught dead in one of them (sorry to all of the AMC fans). Not big on the AMC & Mopar lines if you know what I mean. I will keep an eye out for a Donzi/Hornet for you though.

Cool cars... I 'll take the SC 360. I've got a 1970 Mark Donohue Javelin that I'm slowly working on. AMCs are cool 'cause they're rare.

I also had a 1970 Mark Donohue Javelin
it was pale yellow with black stripes and a
green corduroy interior 360 auto with a ram air hood, cool car but ugly color combination.
also had a 1973 Black AMX 401 auto Factory fiberglass ram air hood and the wild Pierre Cardin interior.
