heard a rumor today

I heard today that Donzi has changed hands?
The same folks that own Baja and SeaRay have moved in.
Anyone else heard anything?

This rumor has shown up here (in the Talk to the Factory section) and over on Offshore only. I have searched all over Brunswick's press releases as well as just general searches and I have yet to see any press releases or any mention of it in the press. Like any rumor, I'm sure there is some degree of truth to something.....but I guess we have to wait for someone to announce it officially.

If it is true, Brunswick makes a lot of great boats (Sea Ray, Whaler, Baja, not to mention Mercury Marine!!). They also really seem to keep there product lines independent, so it may be a good thing for the company....

This is just another roumor. If someone did they would be waving flags not this grape vine crap. Donzi has been THE BOAT for almost 40 years. One drunken sailor and you are all woried. No offence to you real Navy guys.
