Saw this at Lake Cumberland a couple weeks ago. Donzi was a 28ZX Daytona with this engine and drive. What do you think? Got any promise?

I don't know about that one but a fellow local to my boating waters just got a new 28 ZX with twin Scorpions. Its beautiful. His feedback was that while still learning to drive, he is looking for 80 MPH.

First time I've seen a 28 ZX with that setup. Should move through the water pretty good. Did the owner state what he was getting for speed at WOT? I would prefer twins in a boat that size and weight.

I would think with a light load, the twin scorpions in the 28 ZX should hit 80 MPH.

One thing that doesn't show in Scott's pictures are all the tools that were lying around in the bilge and on the back seat. This boat was tied to the dock at the launch, so he was doing more than just a few last moment tweaks. Unfortunately, we caught this guy on a break and did not get a chance to visit with him.

Also, the drive seemed buried awfully deep in the water to really have any benefit at all. Did look cool cooking across the water down by the dam though...
