Help , just noticed water coming from the first weld joint on my stainless "z " pipes ,right after the rubber clamp that joins it to the riser!seems to be some rot there, anybody out there dealt with this problem before ? are replacement z pipes available if so where, or are there after market pipes that will do the job? I have a 88 Z-33 and it looks like the one on the port engine is getting ready to spring a leak also, anybody ever been in this position before ? how did you fix it ,epoxy putty, high temp silicone ? any input would be greatly apprieciated thanks Rich

If its just at the weld you can remove the exhaust pipe and bring it to a Stainless Fab shop and have it rewelded. Alot of the times when people weld Stainless they dont use the right rod at it starts to rust but the rest of the tube should be fine.

are replacement pipes available anywhere, or is the "Z" pipe a nightmare to retrofit??

If you can wait a week or two, I'll re-weld them for you. Just pay the shipping both ways. E-mail me if I can help. Gary
