The vibration is felt throughout the boat. The boat is 22' regazza wit 4.3L 205 HP. Don't know the prop size or pitch but there are no dings.

Could be a bent prop shaft to a bad gimble bearing. Did you hit anything lately?

or.... has the prop been dinged up with you running it for nore than a few hours?
out of balance prop will over time make things go out of alignment in a drive.

does the trim have effect on the vibration,
it is something out of alignment see if you can try another prop may be a loaner from the marina that's where I would start

The prop is in great shape and is apparently the right one for the boat. I will have to see if it is intensified by trim.

up all the way? do you mean you make it go up till it stops? if so, dont do that and your problem is solved! i normally trim up less then 1/4 of the way.

Do you hear it in turns with little or no trim? And again when trimmed up? If so when did you last change the gimble? I change mine out a 100 hours or there abouts. Check the U-Joints they maybe tired. The drive should come off once a season to grease U-Joints and check the bellows even if fairly new some time you get a cut in them and in salt especialy will ruin U-Joints and the gimble bearing. Usualy see some water leakage low at the transom if its bad.

Didn't catch the year, but, as the boat is a Regazza, its got some years on it. Last summer I had some drive/boat vibrations. It was the universals. Could be that as already suggested. Replacement for those wasn't that bad (different drive though).
