I am sure some have seen this, I didn't until yesterday, very sad. The link plays the music 5 times or so, very long, but not long enough.

I would like to add a few comments;
The last year has flew by and it has been easy to put 9-11 behind for most of us, me included and I lost a good friend in the Pentagon, CDR William Donovan, 21 years of service for me, this week has been very difficult. But the media has helped or hindered the remeberence and it has been relived in our home. Today I read a ten page article blow by blow from survivors in the Pentagon. Just watched the ABC special.
Tomorrow night on 60 minutes II is the first interview Bush gave immediatley after the attack.

I hope everyone in this DONZI family takes a moment Wednesday to realize how great we have it in life, as ordanary people and Americans. I am spending the entire day at memorial services all over town including the elementary school.
Thanks for letting me share my thoughts.
GOD Bless America.

On this day of remembrance I would like to thank our friend Digger, all of the Americans enlisted in our armed forces and our veterans for protecting the freedom that we enjoy so much.

I would like to pay tribute to my brother firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice; ".......may the mourning come to an end to allow us to pay tribute to your heroic efforts on that fateful day".

Today:
My 8th grader got to watch the memorials on TV all day. My 2nd grader had me in for prayer and talk.

Then I attended two seperate services, they were both very nice, but very sad, they paid tribute to the real heros who died and the families left behind. What an emotional day.

Adult beverage time as soon as ROADTRIP arrives and I think I will wash the boat to cheer me up!
Right after I hug my kids.....
GOD bless america!

Next in line for a can of USA whoop ass better be ready, and we all know who that is!

HARBORMASTER;
I am sure Jessica has one of me in wash khaki's in her room, next time I am in whites (weekly) I will have Nancy snap a digital...
(whites does it for Nancy! LOL) Her favorite uniform. If your a carrier buff I have LOTS of photo's you'd like from the real deal, in the big pond that is landlocked by what G.W.B. calls the evil doers.... I served on IKE, TR, GW and now RONALD REAGAN.... By the way Scot, do you want one of the RONALD REAGAN invites to the commissioning?

Well this day is winding down, ROADTRIP is near DIGGER enroute on I95, shot glasses and T-Bones laid out.
I plan to watch the President at 9pm and 60 Minutes II at 8.

Thanks to everyone who posted with comments and thanks to everyone else for whatever you did today. I personally am looking forward to tomorrow.

Donzi Aficonados :(

I will never forget the day
I was in Toledo OH in a seminar
While on brake I noticed the CNN coverage on the hall TV
Wow !!!
How would ever thought we could be so vulnerable
Sense I could not fly home
I rented a car from Toledo to St. Louis
In course of driving for 9 hours
I realized how fortunate I was to be an American
With all our freedoms and privileges

We will be strong and fight on
