I pulled the motor yesterday and labeled everything. Too my suprise it was not that dirty in there so I may save some time and not paint it. It actually looks very clean.
Question: Do I have to replace any unforseen parts on the spline(bearings, gromets?) I am a rookie at this so any advice would be great. The guy measured my rocker springs and they were like 20lbs off from Comp cams. That puts me back another day.
While the engine is out and I have about 12 days to play with this thing. I may rewire the boat cuase the original owner kinda hacked it.got Well I will keep you all posted
