I keep reading about guys installing drive showers costing over $100. They are far from a new idea! The old Eaton drives used to cook the top end, what I and I am shre alot of other guys did was to take 1/2 S/S tubing cut a 45 on one end which protuded just below the transom then went straigt up made a hard left then a hard right mandrel bent nice and neat. The end was pinched off and I use to drill three 3/16 holes at a 45 degree angle as the drives rotated 180 upward so it could not be positioned right above but had to shoot at the drive from an angel. With the new tilt drives one could easily and very cheaply make this setup with an angled down flatened end to shoot the water at the upper. Nice clamps and tubing maybe $25-30 depending on 1/2 0r 3/4 tubing & clamps. Old farts ideas revived!
