Torch is a great lake...the color is very hard to describe in words, you must see it to believe it. Do you live on the lake, or nearby?

Really is beautiful lake and so deep it was off the depth finder on my yellow X 18 I had up there 3 summer's ago. I even remember relaxing on that sandbar near where the river flows into the lake. Wow was that water cold!!!!!

Way to go Mr. Blackhawk -I still don't have this figured out yet. Indeed,Torch Lake is absolutely beautiful. We will be going by there on our way to Charlevoix in September after the Eufaula gathering. We looked at some property on Torch last winter but it was real expensive and covered with snow!
Enjoy your Michigan summer. From a displaced Michigander living in Georgia.

I wish I lived on the lake! If I keep working really hard maybe I can before I die! http://www.donzi.net/ubb/biggrin.gif But, I do live only 45 minute from there so I'm not complaining. Absolutely beautiful there!

Hey Blackhawk, where are you located? By the way, nice picture of your boat on Torch Lake. I've heard that the sandbar there is one of the best float parties to be found anywhere. By the way, if you are looking for something to do on the weekend of 7-14, we are having a small Donzi gathering up here in the Les Cheneaux Islands. If you only live 45 minutes from Torch Lake, you can't be more than 2.5-3 hours from us up here in the Cedarville area. Hope to meet you in the near future!

Riley, I will keep that in mind! I broke a prop blade on the 4th but if I have it fixed before that weekend I will see what I can do!
