The wife and I went out Donzi Shopping yesterday and found only a Donzi fishing boat at the dealer and a 16 at a brokerage. What a drag.
Our Dealer seems to only stock Donzi fishing boats.

Harbormaster, to bad you didn't jump on the Z-33 I bought this spring out of Austin Texas, I've been real happy with the performance and condition of the boat I'm sure if you checked it out you probably would of bought it, but anyway good luck in your search for the Perfect Donzi !!!

Harbormaster,
What model are you after? The folks on your site are excellent at finding Donzi boats and helping someone find what they need. Does it need to be located in the TX area? Do you want brand new or slightly used. When I thought I needed a larger Donzi, I found many used examples and from what I've read, their is a gentleman in the New Mexico area that has a number of good deals on Donzi boats. Let us know.

C'mon Scott, Your kiddin' right?
You don't think that I know all that?
I just wanted to touch and feel one locally.
When I buy, the net will probably play a big part.

I kinda that we need to purchase a gently used ZX. A small cuddy cabin would give us a bit more flexibility in our explorations of the Texas Gulfcoast.

Scot,
Couple of nice 22zx boats in the Texas boat trader that I was looking through at the hamburger joint yesterday. Your next boat might just be in your back yard. Your sentiments about the Donzi dealer down there match mine. I doubt if I would do business there again. Good luck with your search, todd

Now Scot, how are you going to get people to buy hats if you're looking at 40K plus boats?

I will also buy a formula Jr. so everyone will feel sorry for me. http://www.donzi.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

I have to buy a fairly new one because I don't have time to work on it since I spend so much time operating the website. (sound of violins)

Did I also mention that I will be in hock to my eyebrows?

Scot,
I'm sure you already know this but my dad has a 2001 22ZX w/6.2L and a 2001 Z23 Sport w/350 Mag. sitting in Albuquerque, both new. The 22 is loaded with options including custom paint and is on a Myco Trailer for $46,000. The Z23 is on an Aluminum Loadmaster for $37,000.

The purchase won't take place until after Sept. We are trying to stay below 25k.

There were some title "discrepensies". Also as time wore on I decided I need something more than a 16. I decided that it is alot cheaper to buy a running boat. I do not have the time to work on it. I had to just about give away all of my parts (engines & outdrives)I advertised them everywhere for a low price and had no takers in 6 months.

The 16 is sitting under a cover in a friends auto storage lot. I will probably give it to him.

I find it amusing that "THE HARBOURMASTER" can't find a Donzi in the South Mid US...Imagine what it is like 2500 miles north?... http://www.donzi.net/ubb/rolleyes.gif Want to join my club?

Lenny, Lenny, Lenny...
Are you going to make me dredge up the Lenny Top 10 list?
For the record: You reap what you sow.
*****************************************

These are the top ten reasons Lenny can't buy your Donzi boat this year as per the David Lettermen home office in Lawrence,Kansas.

10. Canadians can not convert miles per hour into Kilometers.
9. Lenny says you live too far away for him to get there from his home.
8. Lenny can not find your 1968 Donzi Classic in his recent NADA value book.
7. Lenny thinks "Holman and Moody" is a law firm.
6. Lenny's been told to deal directly with Don Aronow himself and no one else.
5. Lenny has so many print outs of boats he's interested in, he can't return your phone call until next year.
4. Lenny is now scared to buy a Donzi since he heard the story of the Russian sub.
3. Lenny told me he won't buy now and tow it all the way home to Canada and then have the Miller brothers ask him to report to Orlando with his boat immediately.
2. Lenny is holding off from buying now because he's not sure if that barrelback
Volvo 302 is a 1967 or a 2000 in disguise.

And the number one reason that Lenny will not buy a Donzi this year (2000) is

1. Lenny heard that Donzi is recalling all classics with a 24 degree hull and converting them to catamarans at no charge.

Scot, I don't think the "superstore" is into the classic's. they told me they don't sell well on clear lake. I think they are more into the "vip" line(cheap!) than the donzi's for the volume and that sucks. I don't think they have even brought in a 22zx either. But I'd like to see you get one. hurry up would ya? and plan on spending more than 25k. your gonna be broke anyway you might as well enjoy it!
