Never been there but my sister has dove there many times along with almost every dive site in the Gulf. She says not as good as some but better than many. Don't know if you like sailing but she tells me that you can book passage on a gigantic catamaran that takes you to the Island, you can stay as long as you want, and return when you want. She says the sail is as enjoyable as the dive. I believe the Hilton there is your tent. Of course you have to deal with Key West and that is another story.
