Trip of a lifetime, and will reschedule next year! Check the web site here:http://www.duesouthcharters.com/home.htm

This is for diehards only but accomdations are first rate etc.

Wishing I was there again,

Tailwind,
Your trip looks awesome. On a smaller scale, I leave tomorrow for a few days in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Inland fishing for reds and sea trout. I have never done this type of fishing, but I am pumped! We will be fishing the bay, canals, and inlets with live shrimp, croakers, plugs and I may try a large streamer on my fly rod for kicks.

Any tips?

Randy,
We had two good days! Fishing light tackle (12 lb. test) was a blast. :D Eight Redfish and lots of sheepshead. I counted 12 species over 2 days. Probably 60 or 70 fish. Inshore really is best in many areas. The reds averaged 6 pounds with the biggest pushing 9. The sheepshead were nice at 4 to 8 lbs. Anyone going in the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area (Alabama's short coast) should go with the guide we used at "Triple C" charters. Two minutes from the truck to the fish makes it easy for young and old as well. Anyone, email me for details if you like. See the pic, and notice the Donzi.net hat!

:D

RickR is down here grouper fishing out of Panacea (Florida Panhandle town on the Big Bend located between Tallahassee and Apalachicola). I think that it's about time I run down there and see how he's doing.
