Team Donzi Wins round 1 at the worlds at Orange beach today!!! Way to go Doug and Lee, good luck on Sunday. I can see a World Championship comming on!!!!

Congratulations to Team Donzi. Those 38 Zr's have been the most dominating boat the last two years in my opinion.

What races were today? Do they run again this weekend?

Scott, I'm not sure if they took third or not. And I know it wasn't the last lap. It was more like the middle of the race. I do know they didn't get a trophy at the awards ceremony.
I was told they had a coolant leak on one engine and had to drop out. There had been a few boats that broke on Wednesday and couldn't race, so the field was small. Whatever it was, Donzi came in dead last - which may have been 3rd, but I think it was 4th. If I remember right, I counted 4 Super V's on the pace lap,
On another note, the F2-57 Fountain, driven by Lute Dicky spun hard, wiped out, and promtly sunk. Very quickly! It was quite a sight.
Snap-On Talkin' Tools took it all in F2, and in fact...Wilma took "Driver of the Year"!!!!!!!!
See ya all in Key West...if I'm still alive. It's been 6 weekends in a row of non-stop racing. It's not the racing that is killing me, it's all the damn driving!!!
