Where can I purchase a decent boat cover for a 18 Classic without breaking the bank. Walmart was a bust with there one size fits all crap. Looking for something that is a custom fit for my pride and joy. Any help I can get would surely be appreciated. I reside in the Lake Lanier area north of Atlanta.

You can also trythese guys if you don't find what you want at overtons http://www.boat-cover.net/covers/boatcovers/action.models/manufacturer.Donzi.html

Also I was in Boaters World this weekend and saw a lot of covers. They are generic and may not be as form fitting as you may be looking for. Hope it helps.

I t is tough to find "custom fit" without having it custom fitted. Your best bet other than the mail orders are to go to a custom canvas shop and have them make you one. You can tell them what material to use and how you want it to look. The prices can vary greatly depending on those decisions that you make. It is the only way to get the color and cut that you want. The post that Fishboy put up sounds promising if your boat is set up the same as the one they used for the pattern. For a little more $, I would go local. It is probably their slow time, you may get a deal. You won't know unless you give them a call. They should be glad to give you an estimate.

Dude - drive over to West Marine, either on Friendship Road in Buford or the one in Gainesville. We looked through their "Taylor Made" catalog and found one for a 22 ft. sportboat. Turns out to be made specifically for my boat - a 22 Classic. Fits pretty well and was about $200 as I recall. It would be worth checking for your boat. Good luck.

I hate to admit it but I needed a cover and was low on funds...the Walmart 18 cover fits like a glove, stetch it out, with the outdrive up and it covers everything down to the chine. I was thinking about posting this find, but didn't want to look cheap. Now I'm out.
