Any suggestions on type, style, cost,? I was looking at the Imco Tips
I am running stock Volvo penta center risers
and i now have them elboed to the old original 2 1/2" ports . During the restoration i am planinng on going straight out the back but i am concerned that the down angle of the riser might be too much .Will the hose make that angle up? I measured the hose it fits on the manifold some where between
3 1/2" and 4".I would suspect that i have to go about 1 1/2' to the back of the boat. Hopeing i could make that angle back straight with the hose.

Ralph,
I know the 4" hose does not bend well. Anyway, before you buy tips, come over and look at an extra set of brand new 4" angle cut tips I have. If they will work for you, they will be a bargain.

Flexible and semi flexible hose is available but it is stiff.
Rex has a good selection of tips and reducers.
The metal internal flaps are noisy and sometimes the rubber ones cause the exhaust to have an odd sound at certain RPMs.
Make sure you have clearance for the Power Steering.
