Saweet!! Great minds think alike!

It a mish mash of hardware.....I think it's an Octura strut. I fabricated the extension which holds the strut and rudder. Just have to finish fastening the lower strakes to the hull, then seal her up good. I can't wait to let her rip in the canal, I wonder how many neighbors boats I'll poke?

Post some pics if you have them!!

Very cool idea, however you realize that the Israeli's thought of this in 1965 with full size 16's (King of Thunderboat Row p.42). I need to get a hobby, wait I already have one.

Nate,
Cool idea......Here's the reel question, when you start her up for the first time and let her rip, Do you think you'll ever see her again??!!!

BB,
Hmmm, well, if she's anything like the r/c planes I used to have, probably not. http://www.donzi.net/ubb/wink.gif

Got you one better !!!! I have a R/C Donzi. It is Glass too. Not wood. Has a Nova Rossi motor in it. Goes like Hell. Has trim tabs and Donzi name decals on the rear sides too.

I'd like to see a picture of the r/c Donzi! Do any of you remember flying the old PT-51's in the back yard , Cox 049's, two strings and a handle for elevators and going around in circles until you puked? Fingers all taped up and stinking of fuel...Fun, wasn't it...
