I saw this picture on a 22 classic for sale on Traderonline....very slick ! Look at the top right picture. It's a brand new boat...is the ladder from the Donzi factory or aftermarket ?

Stan,

This is boarding ladder discussed in my "talk to the factory" post a couple of weeks ago. The ladder was custom made for the Classic by Windline and only available from you local Donzi dealer. See my post for part numbers.

I called a Donzi dealer on the ladder….the price is $ 150 plus shipping. I called Windline, the mfg of the ladder, located about 20 miles from my home here in southern California, they told me that the ladder was made specially for Donzi and could not be sold direct to the public, it can only be bought through a Donzi dealer.

$ 150 bucks is still not so bad.

RATS !!!!!!!

Guys,
I'll check this week and see what the dealer cost is on the ladder. I'll let you know.

Rick,

How about a pic of your ladder setup. Is it mounted on the transom or ?

I use the Bravo Drive for a ladder. Couldn't be easier to get to the deck. Problem is getting from there to the rear seat. Gets interesting in a 3'sea http://www.donzi.net/ubb/eek.gif

That style of ladder can be purchased at West Marine. They are telescpoing types and are not really exclusive to Donzi. Be careful with that transom mount!! If you weigh 250+ and push to get out of the water from the bottom rung just watch that glass crack!! The mini platforms are better from a support point of view.
