I'm looking for a subsitute for E. in the pic. Its a plastic sleeve that fits over the steering arm link and acts as a bushing for the Steering lever. Its not available as far as my local dealer is concerned. I've been experimenting with all manner of sources - latest is a section from a Sharpie Permanent marker cap. Has anyone been here before and found something that works well.

I had the local machinist spin me a couple bushings out of brass. I still use the first one he made me 8 years ago, I guess they last a while if lubed well.

Finally settled on making my own bushing using 1/2 inch OD, 3/8 ID Cross linked Poly Hydronic Heating tube. $1.50 for 5 feet, I can make a zillion of them. The trick is you have to heat the little slice to slip it over the Steering Link Rod.
