I know we have done this before but maybe we could have a reposting off all the Donzi memeber's insurance coverage including price, coverage, limitations as well as satisfaction.

I need new insurance soon

I use Boat/US. Reasonable prices, good service, boat owner advocates, discounts for Power Squadron members.

CDMA: I have had a marine policy with
All-State since 1988 which cost me
369.00 a year for full coverage. The
boat is 1998 Classic 18 with a 350/
250 HP and Bravo 1 drive. The coverage
would cost less if I storeged the boat
were I live in NJ, but it spends the winter
in NY State at my lake house in my barn.
My neighbors keep an eye on it for me.
My agent is a boater himself so he is
pretty cool and knows what he's doing.
If I used and keeped the boat at the
Jersey Shore the coverage would cost
more like auto insurance, location is a
big factor.

Chris,
Boat/US has been good to me. Just a little haggling when the MINX hit one of those granite things growing three feet under the surface of Lake Winnipesaukee. Look at page 85 in October POWERBOAT for a more diversified list. Good luck.
