rpm, how high is too high?

while putting in the platinum plugs this morning, i read on a cover, max rpm at wot 4400-4800. i am constantly hitting 5k at wot. as soon as i had realized i backed off.
prop specs: 18x19
20" pitch sound good for it?

18x19 :confused: that's a box fan blade, gotta be 14 or 15 by 19 the first number is the diameter of the prop the 2nd is pitch or how far in inches the prop will travel forward in 1 rev. a 4.3 will last longer at 4300 than 5000

matt, i know its pitch and diameter, i was reading this off the swimdeck with the drive trailered. i thought it might be 10 ir 18 x 19. ill look closer today.
more rpm=more wear and less fuel mileage.
