Corsa mufflers

Does anybody know if it is possible to remove the baffles from inside the Corsa muffler tips? There is a bolt visable right in the center of the baffle when looking thru the end of the tip, I was wondering if that holds the baffle in. The noise restrictions are pretty minimal here in the northern great lakes, and I'd like to pull the baffles and see if there is any performance to be gained. Plus it'd sound cool! And I can always put the baffles back in, if need be. Thanks, Chris

are these the same mufflers that come on the new classics? 4 inch at the transom necked to 3 inch at the outlet? i'd be interested in seeing what kind of gains you could get by unplugging them...
