The weather sure looked better down in St. Pete yesterday than it did up here on the panhandle. Anyway I managed to take a run in the 15' "Brand X" with a 140 outboard on the Ochlocknee River (RickR's vacation backyard) yesterday AND put back some oysters from My Way and suds from the frig.

No wonder nothing gets done around here!!!

Looks like fun!

Rick,
Great looking shots. Jill and I had a very similar day yesterday here in Texas. Winter returns on Wednesday with ice. We moved to the south to get away from this stuff.
Hey, while I have worked through the break-in period gritting my teeth the whole way and the Bajas are now falling into the mist, I still feel like there is more there than what I am getting on the top end. I look forward to seeing your new beast at Cumberland and most importantly, how she runs! Todd

Rick,
I'm jealous. Not just the weather, but the boat also. She's part of my screen saver now. Hope you don't mind me borrowing the picture. Can't wait to see her at Lake Cumberland.

What a fun day on the water! We are glad you came down and enjoyed our part of the Gulf.
Let's do it again soon!

BTW The trim tab is fixed. It had a 5/16 nylock shear pin I temporarily replaced with a dowel.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Now if I just had 100 more HP http://www.donzi.net/ubb/eek.gif

Sorry I couldn't get the metering rods out. I don't have the correct size torx driver.
If you need the #s before I get home I'll go buy a driver.

I finished off my oysters on Thurs. Still have a little shrimp left. Too bad there isn't a My Way down here. Have you checked on property for me yet?

Rick,
No problem. As easy as they are to change, I can can just pop a few sets in and out till I find the best match.

When I upgraded the Mallory L.E.D to a Pertronics H.E.I. conversion, a few days ago, I noticed a "C" clip was missing in the distributor. This clip prevents the upper shaft from rising in it's seat. The way she sits now, one can pull the upper distributor shaft up about 3/4". Maybe my problem rests in that. I'm taking the disty to the "spinning shop" where I'll have her re-curved, weighted, and freshened up.

How's the vacation going?

Sold the Supra and am on a relentless hunt for a Seacraft C.C.!!

We are having a great time but MAN IS IT COLD, today only 70 http://www.donzi.net/ubb/wink.gif

22 is running like a champ but I don't think the Trimmaster Tabs are going to hold up to my driving http://www.donzi.net/ubb/biggrin.gif. CP has some Trimmasters w/dual actuators that might work but I'd rather have K-Planes.

Off to Ft Meyers for a couple of days then we'll have conpany the rest of the week.

Still trying to hook up with Stromer. Mabe we can meet around Egmont after my company is gone.
Is the GT ready?

Rick,
We have just not had a chance for our schedules to let us be boating together.

Sorry I have been off the registry, my work is crazy right now with the Genmar purchase being dragged on and on and on...

I will be ready next week for Egmont or anyplace in between Tampa Bay and Charlotte Harbor.

You are right it was COLD today - I had to put on a long sleeve T shirt!!! I can't stand less than 80 anymore. Should be back up to 80 by the weekend.

RickR, let me know what is going on in Fort Myers, this time next week I'll be out of this frozen wasteland called Canada, and fully in beach mode. The only thing we've got planned so far is some golf next Wednesday, and some back bay fishing some time later in the week.
If there is anybody close to Fort Myers beach, I'm willing to trade good CANADIAN beer for a ride.
later,
