Gee Do you think I need a new core?? eek! I squeezed a LOT of water out of those blocks. Most of them lift right off. Quite revealing.

Will probably go with a foam based core material that works w/polyester resin.

I bet all this rotten/wet core could have been avioded if the builder would have just sealed all the damn holes they cut in the deck. Most of my coring was allright, except around the cleats, lift rings and vent holes where they just cut holes left bare balsa core :mad: What the F?! Anyway, looks like your making progress. A truly fun job, eh :rolleyes:
