I am in dire straights and need a shaft. Not just any shaft, but a straight shaft. One that will replace my torqued Volvo intermediate housing shaft. This is one of the last pieces of the Used Boat Puzzle.
This shaft apparently is not made any more. This thing fits a 6 bolt, intermediate hookup, 350 motor to Volvo 270 outdrive. Not the bell housing type. I am told that there may be some in an outdrive pile in South Florida. Does anyone know where to look?
Help, social pressure is still mounting.

Thanks guys. Note the nice twist. I haven’t checked for fractures, but I don’t want to run with this one.

Twist #2, the wife is done. She wants to have a party at the new reef, Donzi Reef, 20 miles in the Gulf. The Blue Angles do their home show at the beach next weekend. Social pressure meter is now maxed. If I can get it here by Tuesday I’ll slam this thing in and still own a boat. Fed-X is on my team and can send a check today. I sold an E-drive this way and it works.

Please check your stuff and I'll be standing by.
Thanks.

I have 1 too, but it's still in the casing. What's it worth to ya? I'd like to get rid of it and make a happy camper at the same time!

Oh yeah, it came out of my previous working set up, so I'd have to assume it's in good cond.

This is what she looks like as of 11:24 AM today.

I can live with "happy camper". My shaft is 11-1/2" . Your housing looks somewhat different. Is the shaft the same length? Is it for a 8 cylinder?

My cell number is 850-982-2303, house is 850-453-9417.

Call anytime, no time is too soon, and call collect.

Stuart,
She's boxed up and ready for shipping. I'll throw a tracking # up here Monday.
