Scott,
Does your drive shower work with the water pickup mounted where it is? It doesn't seem like the water pickup would be in the water when the drive is properly trimmed. I was thinking of plumbing mine down to the transom, next to where the speedo pickup is. By the way, I got 77.3 mph out of the Blackhawk on Sunday. It was an early morning run, 60 degrees, 1 ft of chop and drizzling, but she was flying! I think she had more but I didn't push it.

Greg, the shower seems to work. I have felt my drive after some hard runs and it is not even close to hot. I think I am going to plumb it into my seawater pump over the winter though. 77.3 is flying! The best I ever saw was 78.6 with mine with the old K-planes and that was only once. The best I have been able to get with the longer planes is 76.9. I never seem to get "perfect conditions" too often.
