seen pics of that thing floating around, don't know the story behind it. It's a "Hind", D model I think. A solid gunship, fast, good numbers at the top end but a crappy slow speed flyer, poor manueverability below 80 kts or so. Gunner (front cockpit) has to be really really good to put steel on target, it is difficult to switch rapidly from guns to rockets or PGM's. Air to air, 1 v 1 scenario, best countertactic is outclimb, if you can't, get inside his turn and stay on his wingroot. keep your speed up. If he commits at long distance, expect a PGM shot at 3-6k, followed by rocket salvo, followed by guns. Go beak to beak and keep energy up, close at Vne, max performance climb just before the merge, critical to see his direction of turn post-merge, you must turn same direction, gain tail chase, and-
