I have to remake this thing anyway, and I love the way the 18 has such an upward "swoop". I think this will work on the 21. I think a couple here have modified theirs as well. What do you guys think of this? I will simply template it and send it to an aluminum/glass person and it should just fall onto the deck in theory...

Looks great Lenny. The previous owner of my 1971 Hornet had the windshield "chopped" or cut down (like your morphed photo)so that it rakes backward more than the original, more upright factory angle. It still provides some protection but enough air movement on hot days.
I would still like to find the original base hardware for it in case I want to restore it to factory specs.

It's wrapped up tight in Lake George for the winter but I'll look for some pics this weekend.

Is there anyway to round the trailing edge.
Just in case eek!

Lenny, The laid back windshield looks very cool.I think i would try a few different looks for the side glass pieces. These ones look kinda triangular.I don"t know if having the ends go straight down & short length or the longer sides like common 18C&22Cs would look better.
Just another idea. :)
