Has any one tried a land and sea stern jack and did you see any any performance improvements??

This question has been kicking around for a while. I was very interested when I had my Alpha and talked to a lot of people here and elsewhere. The conclusion is this:
Helps the handling a great deal but no one can verify that they got any speed gains.
