This article (http://www.unionleader.com/articles_show.html?article=13365) from last Sunday describes a hit & run fatality on Lake Winnipesaukee... and then this article (http://www4.fosters.com/news2002/aug_02/aug13_02/news/reg_nh0813g.asp) gives an update and explains that a 35' Baja has been impounded.

Condolences to the deceased boater's family, and good luck to the authorities. Hopefully they will impose maximum penalties on the guilty driver & passengers.

Be safe Winni gang...we do NOT want to read about any more accidents!

If you go to www.winnipesaukee.com (http://www.winnipesaukee.com) and read the forum, you will find all kind of commentary on this tragic situation (note I did not say accident). Rational to highly irrational for all sides of the topic.
People are quick to find blame with divergence to their lifestyle. Human nature I guess.
The boats fault, I think not.

Just my 2 cents,

Stan

Let us all wait a minute folks?

Reallly do not wish to sound like a " " Post, but let us all examine the facts prior to letting a guilty fact or another persuade the press. Let us all stand together regardless of make until further facts are made known. Mistakes will always be made, whether or not DONZI related. First and foremost, our sincere prayers go out to the families involved in this, a terrible tradgetry.

Can we avoid this in the future, even if it is not our problem yet? Most assuredly, yes we can! For those of us not fortunate to make the KY event, Look back upon Scott Bolts essay on power - enough said

For what it's worth, I thought that was what I said, but maybe not.
