Isn't it ilegal to sell members of your family??

I think the new owner will step up and announce soon. He is a first class guy - if I can't have her, I can be happy that he does!

PS: Rootsy - that is a loaner tow truck...

I'll be there next week. Too busy to wax your boat :p I'll be grouper fishing and working on the *%#@&ing Yamaha Saltwater Series  (surging idle and tons of cavitation?)

Rootsy,

Either I need a new monitor, new glasses, or you had the inside scoop. I cant see the Mackinac Bridge on that plate!

Doug,

It's good to see you posting again! When will you and the family be on this side of town so we can all go out for dinner together?

Just wanted to let you all know that it was the Mackinac Bridge on the Ram's license plate. I'm happy to say that "Genuine Trouble" has a new home in St. Clair Shores, MI about 300 yards from Lake St. Clair. It fits into one side of my garage with about two inches to spare. I had to clear off one of the shelves on my work bench to clear the outdrive but it was worth it. If I would have had to turn the trailer to the side and take up my wife's parking place there would have been hell to pay.

Many thanks to Reddog :D wink wink :D The boat is all that he said it was and more. I'ts kind of like riding a motorcycle on the water. The wind takes your breath away. I'm very pleased to own her now. She has a good home. As I tinker with her I'm sure I'll be asking you guys a lot of how-to questions so get ready with all your knowledge.

RickR, I especially enjoyed the photo you posted above. Where & when was that taken? I would enjoy more of them if you have any and would like to chat sometime with you. If you would, drop me an email at hrb@dcx.com with your phone number.

Ron,

The picture was taken at the Portofino (Universal Studios, FL). I believe it was March/April 2000.

Ron, Nice to see one of my favorite 18 Classics just a couple hours from me now. Hope to meet you and see Genuine Trouble in person again soon. Hope you can join us at Lake Cumberland in May.

Scott, Yes, it was a long search for the right Donzi but I'm glad I was patient. RedDog took really good care of Genuine Trouble and she should be ready to go in the spring. He winterized her for me so I don't have to do anything except sit in the cockpit and make motor sounds until spring. :D :D Thanks! RedDog....

Lake Cumberland might be doable, where is it? Let me in on the details when you know them.

Di is correct 3/2000. Donzi had a promotion for the Classics at the Portifino. First class wining and dining. Mike and the crew really treated us :D
Pic is of Jamesbon and me discussing world politics wink
Call me if I can help.
