A 2004 26ZX with a 500efi loaded with options does anybody have a idea on top speed and price. I am thinking about downsizing from my 33ZX (must be stupid I know). Any other advice would be appreciated. I dont know if I should go with a 28ZX or 26ZX, I had a 28ZX before the 33ZX but this time was thinking of going to a single engine. Maybe I am thinking too much

she will run 72-74 mph with a 500 EFI but the price tag I would by a 28ZX

Undertaker;
YES, you are thinking to much... stop immediately!
Enjoy the 33....

The 26ZX is a great boat, but the 33 has much more to offer IMHO....
Bigger is Better, ask any SOBER boat chick.

Thanks guys for the advice, I need to step down to a 28ZX mainly because the ratio of time spent on water to money invested in the 33ZX is way out of wack, and next year looks even worst (NO TIME FOR FUN). Anybody looking for a 2002 33ZX High Roller graphics twin 496MAG HO loaded with options? frown

Does anybody have an idea what the price tag on a 2003 leftover or 2004 26ZX with 496 MAG HO loaded with options should be? Are K-planes necessary on the 26ZX?

You could get into one for around 69,000 to 75,000 depending on options, No you don't need K-Planes actually you don't need Trim tabs either the boat planes out fast. Runs pretty straight unless you have a lot of weight on one side. I just sold a leftover 2002 loaded for 62,000

Thanks for the info Frank, I am trying to get out of my 2002 33ZX and am thinking of a 26ZX, had a 28ZX, but I thought I would go back to a single engine application since my boating time is getting less and less every year.

UnderTaker, so what is the needed price of your 33zx? Just curious...

Here is a '04 26ZX under powered (375hp) on the west coast for 80K, my guess is it will be for sale a year from now for $60K. But maybe not.

But like they say, there is an a$$ for every seat and a seat for every a$$.
Good luck on the hunt. One will turn up.
Keep us posted.
Bryan

This one looks nice.

I love the boat just don't have the time to use it for that kind of money invested. The boat is kept at Jackson Marine, any other interest in the boat post or email me. Thanks

UNDERTAKER; We did discuss it, but it is not pratical financially for us at the moment.
We intend to remain in our 26ZX at least through next season.
Our new pool was dug out today, 17x41x20' I am like a proud father tonight.
Good Luck and keep us posted.
