Randy, after seeing the 18 behind UStowboat "HMS ROOT" I wondered if you had a self fulfilling prophecy of the every other weekend gremlins or just got caught out by the I can outrun Smoothie pre-race strategy of a light fuel load. No matter thats one nice looking and quick classic.

Jim,

I thought I ran out of gas as I was intentionally running her low. Turns out I still had some fuel left, but once again filled my fuel filter with water.

Based on some advice from our other board members, I recently installed a Racor fuel filter. Once I realized she wouldn't start at the gas docks with another 15 gals, I pulled the drain plug on the Racor and out came the water. She fired up no problem after that.

Hey, That 3 blade'er of mine has a couple dingers in it. Don't make me pull out the "good" prop. wink Plus, me and one passenger is like your three anyway. :D

Hell, I just showed up to have a good time, I always run the boat like that. :D You gotta admit though, 72 or thereabouts is impressive for a stock 350MAG and a Bravo. Short of the K&N arrestor, that's the way the boat came from the factory. eek!

I didn't know I was going to have to take all this crap. :D :D :D

...how much are IMCO shorties again?
