I've shipped 3 Donzi's from Florida to Oregon through Dat Services (www.dat.com) You advertise your load there and truckers look at screens at truck stops to find them when they're headed somewhere and they're not full. My last 18 came out on top of a load of steel plate. I've paid anywhere from $800 to $1500. A lot cheaper than a boat shipping company. Good luck.

Your quest is just like the one I just got done with (ie) L.A to Chicago.I used a guy from Feather Lite trailers out of Iowa talk to Curt in Transportation he has guys running out that way and it works out good for both of you

Try www.boatsexpress.com, (http://www.boatsexpress.com,) I shipped a boat from NJ to Florida. It wasn't a Donzi but I was satisfied with the service. They will give you a quote over the phone.Good Luck.

I recently shipped my 18 2+3 from NY to FL. Used Hight Marine Transport http://www.boat-transportation.com/

They are a transport broker. Great communications, WELL-INSURED. They took a personal interest in my boat and it was delivered without a scratch. It was just about $1.10/mile, but call them for a quote. They did a fine job for me.

Look in your yellow pages under "Trucking Transportation Brokers"-they do all the legwork for you and can get you the best deal.Truckers will usually charge less for a partial load-you can ship the boat on the trailer too.Flatbed services usually less than "Boat...." specific trucks.Try Nat'l Truck Dispatch, 1.800.466.5185,they can help you.
