I am very glad the owner is restoring this

Yes, it is a Jr, and when Mr. Blake gets done restoring it (the railing was the first to go) he will have a boat far more rare and true to Wynne's design than a Sport/Ski 16.

That is unquestionably a Formula Jr. Just check out the way the deck curves around to meet the hullside astern, It's very unique.

Looked like you needed at least one more person to say "Yeah -- that's a Formula, Jr." so "Yeah -- that's a Formula, Jr." I've got a friend who has one (Hotboat talked to him about maybe buying it, but I noticed it on the trailer here in Maryland a week or so ago). Anyway, another little interesting visible indicator, not yet mentioned is that little strip of wood at the stern (see pic). Kind of cool. I suppose its a spray guard.

From some of the other posts and registered boats it seems there are at least three Jrs in the Bay Area. I'm heading out to pick mine up somewhere around the 15th this month. I'll see if I can contact the Bay Area Owners and get some good pics. The way things are going here in Eugene, I think an extended Vacation is in order. Lots a cash and a tooth brush and I'm a going wandering.
